Introduction to Visions of the Schechinah

I am pleased to announce the second printing of my book. This is an improved edition that is more attractive and easier to read.

In the first e-book Science and Spirituality, I write in a mostly academic style, demonstrating that rather than being antagonistic to each other, science and spirituality have many things in common. Both are devoted to the seeking of truth, and both seek to understand what is real. Most importantly both science and spirituality embrace doubt as a tool. Scientific study of the human brain has demonstrated that spirituality indeed is a manifestation of specific brain states and not a charlatan’s trick.

Understanding human consciousness is the next great frontier of science. In Book 2 Visions of the Schehinah, I use a much more personal voice, as I am sharing my own experiences. I make the claim that I have received four visions from the Schechinah. I describe in great detail the circumstances that lead to these visions and why I believe they came to me from a consciousness outside my own.

Now many people would tell you that belief is a matter of faith and there is no way to prove the existence of Divinity. I describe three visions in this e-book, all of which are scientific hypotheses. Specifically, they are apocrine sweat testing, sky high hemp, and liquid phase membrane anti-oxidant oxidation. The great thing about a scientific hypothesis is that it is testable. One can do experiments that will either prove the hypothesis is true or prove the hypothesis is false. When my scientific hypotheses are proved true and they result in significant benefit to humanity then I will have proved the existence of the Schechinah.

Because I have not had the resources to carry out these experiments, this e-book is also a call to the world for assistance in manifesting these visions into reality. These visions claim to hold the key to creating a non-invasive diagnostic screening test for cancer and possibly aids, removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, thereby reversing global warming and to solving the world wide energy shortage. It should be obvious that the source for such overwhelming gifts to humanity cannot come from the mind of any one man.(continued on Page 2)

The First Goddess

We have been given another gift from the deep past of human experience. A new Goddess figure was discovered from about 35,000 to 40,000 years ago. She is small, fitting in the palm of your hand, exquisitely beautiful and the earliest human sculpture ever found. She is a window both into our past and into our present. Understanding who she is will teach us who we are as human beings. She will help keep us from drifting aimlessly and meaninglessly on a patriarchal path to extinction. Few people realize what a great gift the Jewish interpretive tradition is to all of humanity. Because fundamentalists take the words of the Torah literally, it is rare to find a person who knows that it is an obligation of Jews to reinterpret the Torah in every generation, according to the new experiences and knowledge that have been revealed to that generation. This commandment and tradition was the source that Freud drew upon when he created psychoanalysis.

It is the source that I drew upon when I weaved together quantum mechanics, evolution, and neurobiology along with tantra, kabbalah, and goddess worship to create the path to Divine Unitary Consciousness called Tantric Kabbalah. This new discovery teaches us about the Schechinah, the Divine Feminine.

It was about 200,000 years ago that human beings separated from our most recent hominid ancestor, a variant of Homo erectus. Despite the length of that separation it was not until roughly 35,000 to 50,000 years ago when human beings manifested a record that was distinctly human. This is when the great leap forward happened in human history, the almost sudden appearance of technologic, artistic, and spiritual flowering. The appearance of sculptures of the human female form with exaggerated breasts, belly and yoni is essential to understanding this evolutionary leap in human consciousness.

Now as human beings we tend to be very egocentric. We interpret the past in our own image. I myself must confess that I do so as well, so you may want to keep that in mind as you read my words. It is clear that white, male, Christian archeologists, who have repeatedly called these sculptures fertility figures, are in error. These figures do not represent individual women but rather a consciousness that is the source of inspiration to humanity which produced this first great leap in human culture.

The amount of work required to produce such loving detail demonstrates the tremendous significance of these sculptures. It is because of the arrogance of patriarchy that we have been conditioned to belittle the significance of the contribution of women and of the Goddess Herself to human survival, human excellence and human cultural creativity. These figures are ubiquitously present in the human record from the time of the great leap forward 35,000 to 50,000 years ago until the destruction of the first Temple in Israel in 586 B.C. E.

This newsletter titled Hero in Her Service is dedicated to the Schechinah. Who is She? By using the pronoun She most people experience a conditioned response that we are talking about a person. We are not. She, the Schechinah, is the Divine Presence, a mystery that is experienced by an individual and expressed creatively. The Schechinah is the source of creativity and inspiration. She is also the source of love. This love is unconditional and maternal. Maternal love as you can see from the little video included in this newsletter is not limited to human beings but includes our mammal cousins. Animal mothers

The goddess sculptures are also intensely sexual and powerful in their sexuality. The Divine Feminine is not maternal or sexual love She is the combination of the two woven together into a whole that combines the two most powerful emotional experiences that an individual woman can have in her life. The most famous goddess sculpture, the Venus of Willendorf has no face. This new goddess has no head. This is very significant but it does not mean what a frat boy mentality would respond to this information with the cruel “put a paper bag over her head” comment that is demeaning to women.

Our faces more than anything else describe our individuality, our personal uniqueness. The absence of a face in the earliest goddess figures means that she is not individual. If She is not individual then she is universal. The sculpture is the artistic representation of the universal Divine Feminine that appears in every single human woman’s form. Every woman is Her potential manifestation. That is why women are men’s muses. That is why women are both creative in their own selves and inspire creativity. That is why women bring love into the world, both sexual love and maternal love.

Look at the Willendorf goddess, her large sagging breasts pointing down, her big belly, and her large exaggerated yoni. She is not a fertility figure at all. You will recognize her shape as the normative woman’s body in the fullness of her years. She is depicted as the very intensely sexual older woman who manifests human evolution most perfectly. Ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny, it is in the individual woman’s life that the evolutionary process of the species is demonstrated. The main evolutionary change that separates Homo sapiens sapiens from Homo erectus is female sexuality. Human women have menses, bleed every month, hide their ovulation and are sexually available when they are not ovulating. Human women have separated sexuality from procreation.

Since human beings still need to procreate women can become pregnant roughly 2.5 days out of their 29.5 day cycle. Human women also have menopause. Menopause completes the separation of sexuality and procreation. Post menopausal women or wise women or crone goddesses have had the experience of a lifetime to integrate their spiritual life and their sexual life. She is what these goddess figures are depicting, bringing the Schechinah, the mysterious hidden Divine Presence into the world combining maternal and sexual love and bringing cultural growth and creativity into the world. This goddess figure has much to teach us if we will listen. We must learn from the past and also integrate all of our modern knowledge together into a synthesis of wisdom to save us from extinction. The inspiration of the Schechinah is our only hope to reach the bliss and ecstasy that She holds out to humanity. Love and light, namaste and shalom, Stuart
